Sash Windows 

1. Installation of new staff and parting beads that come with a built-in weatherpile. The sash window meeting rails will be fitted with a draught-proofing weatherpile. All of which will efficiently draught-proof the whole window eliminating draughts and outside noise pollution. 

2. Windows are overhauled and adjusted to ensure the windows line up and open and close properly.

3. Windows are counterbalanced with lead sash weights and hung on new ball bearing axle pulleys with nylon sash cord. 

4. Replace the existing sash Ironmongery with new quality Fulton and Bray sash furniture (Finish to be discussed, i.e, Brass, Satin Chrome and Chrome).

5. Repairs will be carried out, where specified.

6. Work to be carried out by a FENSA Licensed Installer.

 

Casement Windows

1. Casement sashes with be fitted with weatherpile draught-proofing around all edges. All of which will efficiently draught-proof the whole window eliminating draughts and outside noise pollution.  

2. Windows are overhauled and adjusted to ensure the windows line up and open and close properly.

3. Windows can be fitted and re-hung on new stainless steel ball bearing hinges.

4. Repairs will be carried out, where specified. 

5. Work to be carried out by a FENSA Licensed Installer.

 

Underlining complications: Minor repairs discovered during the installation will be restored by period sash windows complementary. Any major repair work depending on the severity may alter costings.

 

Please note that Period Sash Windows recognises this is your home and will complete the installation with minimal disturbance, removing all materials, leaving work areas as found.
